God is Faithful

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. - 1 Corinthians 1:9. The faithfulness of God is amazing! When the storms of life seem to raise higher than you can see, God's faithfulness is always revealed somewhere for His children if we choose to look. Life can be hard and very mysterious when dreams fall to the ground, when cancer appears, when people around you fail you or even hurt you. However, God's faithfulness is there somewhere, look for it, call upon Him for it, it is there somewhere. His track record is perfect, His faithfulness is for an eternity so there really should be no doubts, even when doubts do come. My encouragement for you today is when you think you have to run or give up, stop and look for God's unfailing love and faithfulness, don't stop until you find it. This is the way to real life.

The Greatest Promise

The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price. - Revelation 22:17. The word "come" is used a lot in the last chapter of the Bible. This action is describing the return of Lord Jesus. Jesus promises to come back, then we see His church (the Bride) and the Holy Spirit asking for this event to take place. Why?  First, Jesus is looking to complete His task of fully redeeming His church and experiencing His Kingdom as promise by the Father. Second, the Holy Spirit knows this ultimate completion is best for all creation (Rom 8:19). Third, when we can see the value of what lies ahead in comparison to what we have now, we simply can't wait any longer. We start to beg for His return. I'm ready! I can't wait! But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"-  - 1 Corinthians 2:9. So much to look forward to. Are you ready?

Where to start

Encouragement for the day...
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. - John 1:1. Where do we start? A question for every task for there has to be a starting place in order to have a completion of success or benefit. Basic logic, right? What about life? It started with God. Though God has no beginning, for He is eternal both past and future. Not only did it start with God, God started it and sustains, all of it. He even allowed us to mess it up because He loved what He started, you! He is your beginning. Now remember where we began with this logic. If there is a completion of success or benefit, and they is, there has to be a start and oh what a beginning we have, God Almighty. For in His track record everything He starts He has finished and finished in His perfection. So what do you have to worry about today. The One who started it will help it to the end and He will cause all things to work together for who it was started for (Rom. 8:28). Be thankful and joyful to start a new day, a new week and a new year with God Almighty the eternal God that is completely worthy of releasing everything to. God's got this!
